Based on the Strategy for the Formation of a Startup Ecosystem (June 2019), the Cabinet Office has chosen cities as the core of the ecosystem and is providing support. As a part of this strategy, the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) implemented Startup City acceleration program in global hub cities (Tokyo, Nagoya, Hamamatsu, Kansai and Fukuoka) under the Cabinet Office’s Public-Private R&D Investment Program (PRISM) to promote the formation of startup ecosystems. We will be speaking at Demo Day of the Startup City Acceleration Program, which is an opportunity to seek funding and business partners from overseas.
