From late October 2021 through March 2022, the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) is running the “Startup City Acceleration Program” for startups based in the eight hub cities designated under the Cabinet Office’s Startup Ecosystem Development Project.
JETRO has partnered with six world-class accelerators for this program, with the aim of helping Japanese startups expand globally and of further energising regional startup ecosystems in Japan.
Participating startups receive mentoring to refine their business models, along with opportunities for networking and matching with investors and business partners overseas.

Following our participation in the trial held in February 2021, we have now been selected as one of the ten companies in the Bio/Healthcare course run by CIC.
We will use this opportunity to accelerate our move toward commercialisation outside Japan.
